How CoreForge estimates performance
CoreForge estimates may consider:
- CPU and GPU performance tiers from verified benchmark relationships
- per-game workload characteristics and CPU sensitivity
- selected resolution and graphics quality preset
- CPU gaming multipliers and core counts
The current model does not factor in upscaling (DLSS, FSR, XeSS), ray tracing, or RAM capacity.
CoreForge has not benchmarked this hardware. These figures come from a relative performance model, not from measurements taken by us, so treat them as a planning aid and a way to compare options. For the numbers that matter, read the independent reviewers who actually ran the tests.
Read our methodologyFrequently asked questions
- An FPS estimate is an approximate frame-rate value calculated from hardware performance data — not a measured result from a physical test of your exact system.
- No. Results are planning estimates. Actual performance depends on your exact parts, drivers, cooling and system state.
- Drivers, game updates, background apps, cooling, RAM speed and configuration, and the specific game scene all affect real FPS.
- Yes. Higher resolutions demand more from the GPU, which usually lowers FPS at higher resolutions.
- Yes. Higher quality presets are more demanding and typically reduce FPS, while lower presets increase it.
- Not currently. The estimator does not model upscaling technologies, so results assume native rendering.
- RAM capacity and speed can matter, especially if insufficient, but the current estimate model does not adjust FPS for RAM. Enabling XMP/EXPO and using dual-channel can help real performance.
- A CPU-limited result means the processor is the main limiting factor; GPU-limited means the graphics card limits performance. This varies by game, resolution and settings.
- Yes. The estimator is designed for planning before purchase, but confirm with independent benchmarks before buying.
- The underlying hardware database is reviewed periodically, but we do not guarantee a fixed update cadence. Always confirm current performance with recent reviews.
